I picked up some 15g lead free cartridges. Shot them out to 100yards. VERY ACCURATE!!

.

15g is center group. Bottom right is 20g Winchesters. Bottom Left is 25g Winchesters top left is Hornadys.

LOVIN this gun!

Did all three different bullet weights have the same POI like your target shows or did you shoot them at a different target first, make scope adjustments for different POI per the different bullet weight ammo, then shoot for group on the above target?

I've heard the 15gr ammo and 20gr ammo has nearly the same POI at 100, but I thought the 25gr stuff had a fair bit different POI.

B23,

I held high and low to get center groupings.

The 15G shoots highest, higher then the 20G. I used a 6 O'clock hold. The 20G was held dead on and 25G was a high 12 O'clock hold.

Shot the gun yesterday... New scope unexpectedly arrived early!!

I think I have scope problems... I am HOPING no damage occurred but I had to really crank the elevation and feel might be near end of range because when I adjusted Windage.... elevation changed.

Before I touched adjustments I shot two groups and BOTH where touching holes for three shots with 20G Winchester. BUG HOLES! like 22 caliber holes. I was ELATED!!

After siting and shooting some 100 rounds... last three groups where over 1" @ 50 yards for 20G Federal, 20G Winchester and 25G Winchester.

As stated above, I ordered a 20MOA base that I am anticipating gaining 20MOA from my elevation turret removing the "bind" I fear I introduced in Windage and thus, allowing Windage room to function properly.

I may be wrong, maybe, my analogy is all wet, don't know its speculation.

Any thoughts?

CW
The 20 MOA rail should take care of it. Put your scope in mechanical zero. Just count the clicks from one stop the the end for each turrent. ie. say its 40 clicks of range.

In that case turn the turret 20 clicks and you will be close to the center. Now when you mount the scope bore sight it and you will see how close you are to being centered. If you use Burris signature rings you can get the mechanical and bore aligned pretty close and only use the turrets for fine tuning.

Guess I should have read to end of the thread before replying.

Sorry about the bad Banner scope. But you are shooting lights out now. Nice!
