Break in of new RAR

Took first shots with RAR Target Rimfire 22lr yesterday and I'm excited about this rifle!

After a three shot sight in I shot these groups (below).

I'm really impressed with the outta the box accuracy of this rifle and looking forward to lots of trigger time...like later today. I did replace the trigger spring and got the pull down from 3.5 to 1.25 lbs. ( used an ink pen spring).

My question is - do you do anything special for barrel break in?

Yes, a brick of cheap ammo, clean entire rifle. Go buy mid priced ammo to shoot for groups.

Same as I do for my Green Mountain barrel. 6 five shot groups with CCI sv; bore snake between each group. Then 7 ten shot groups with CCI sv; again a bore snake between each group. Then I'm ready to shoot for groupings

congrats on the new rifle. My RAR took about 300 rounds to settle, but when it did the groups really came together.

CCI SV Aguila Standard Fiocchi SSHP CCI SS HP all good to go

I had my second range trip with mine yesterday. Only had around 30 minutes to shoot. I've done nothing to the gun aside from mounting the sight. After sighting it in and playing around a bit, I shot 8 targets for groups. Half of those were half an inch or less.

Best 3 (ignore the measurements, they were wrong):

Forgot to say, all but 2 groups were using CCI SV, the other two was with Wolf Match Target. This was at 50 yards.
