Which CMORE sight for buckmark

Log in to see fewer ads
I bought this mount a while ago and am finally going to order a sight for it

https://striplincustom.com/products/...e-c-more-mount

Problem is I have no idea what CMORE sight I should get to put on my buckmark and what size dot I should be looking for.

CMORE has lots of options and non of my local stores has any in to look at.

After a LOT of looking, I plan to use the "C-More RTS2R 8 MOA" on my next Volquartsen pistol I am buying for steel challenge. The dot size will depend on what you are using it for.

I have a 3 MOA Vortex Venom mounted with a picatiny rail on mine. 8 MOA would be a huge dot.

I don't understand the 90 mount you linked?

This is the sight for that mount. You remove the mount that ls supplied with the sight and screw the sight direct to the Striplin mount.

Which c-more sight

I also put a Vortex Venom red dot sight on my UDX. Great sight and very low profile. Paid about $205 + tax for it. I am in my mid 70s and this sight did wonders for my accuracy. It is 3moa. Off a rest I can now put all 10 rounds through the size of a quarter at 15 yards. The aftermarket also has holsters for the Buckmark with low profile Red dot sights.

Thanks for the info guys.

The 90* mount puts the red dot lower to the bore axis. Supposedly it makes it easier to pick up the red dot.

Found one for 180 bucks but I think its only a 4 moa dot

With the red dot sight & 90 degree mount you use the horizontal setting for vertical adjustment and vice versa, is that right?

I've been thinking about one of these.

https://outerimpact.com/shop/brownin...-mountadapter/

It takes the rail mount off the bottom of a red dot and screws it directly to the rail. Drops the red dot as low as possible, without having it flipped 90.

Correct. The one thing that would need to be checked, is how much adjustment up/down and left/right does the red dot have. I would expect them to have a similar adjustment range for either plane (vertical/horizontal)...unlike some optics that have xMOA one direction and less the other. If that makes sense.

With the FF III mounted on my BM Hunter the dot is about 1.5" above the .22 bore. The dot is easy to locate as I just look above the green FO front sight. I would be interested in how much lower this arrangement puts the dot. Thanks

I use the 90 degree mount and love it. I also have the low rise mount from John Alchin . The 90 degree mount is easiest to use but I also like the other one. I use the 8 moa c-mores.
