Well one thing I was not fond of on either the 22 or the 17 was the plastic cheek rest. Problem solved! I glued some nice seat leather onto them. Nice change of feel and subtle at the same time.

On the 22, I am trying out MAGPULS' bipod. I like it, just maybe not on this rifle. For the 17, a set of side mounted UTG mlok legs. These I like.

Both rifles are wearing a TANDEMKROSS comp.

That does look good! But I'm accustomed to the plastic comb on my centerfire RPR so the one on the rimfire never bothered me. Until now...

That is an interesting idea and your execution of it looks well done.

I just didn't really like the feel of the plastic so much. Probably would have gotten used to it though. This is just one of those, lets try it and see things. The plastic comb on my MDT chassis feels different from the Ruger. I may go back and do this to that one also.

This was the second attempt. First go, I did not roll the leather over the edges. It looks a little less refined. Still functional.

Instead of the UTG Recon Flex M-Lok Bipod, get an M-Lok Picatinny rail & the UTG
TL-BP88Q Tactical OP Bipod, QD Lever Mount, Height 8.0-12.4".
With the quick detach, it can be moved to the rifle you're using at the time
