Been waiting a long time for Brownells to restock Wisner magazines for my 52. Today I found two new ones for $27.55 each shipped on Ebay. That's probably as good as I ever do, so I ordered them.

I can remember when they were $10. 3 for $25. Good magazines though. Originals can run to $100 at times. Big Larry

I am old enough to remember 25 cent gasoline but I was earning $1.25/hour. That was five gallons per hour. Now gas is $3 and my retirement is $30/hour so 10 gallons per hour. See what I mean? Mike

Is WIsners still out of stock on those? You can buy them directly from Wisners for a bunch less when he has them in stock.I bought about a dozen for $20 each the last time and saved a good amount on shipping.

Yes, Wisners was out of stock. I had them on back order with Brownells for quite a while, too.

Might be time for some of us to call or email Wisner and 'lean' on him to make up a bunch more magazines.
I've seen 'scalpers' selling them on ebay for double or more than Wisners price.I've even seen a few trying to sell them as oem genuine Winchester magazines.

Wisner Mags

I've known Jim & LeRoy Wisner for over 30 years... actually used to work part time for LeRoy when he had Wisner's Gun Shop & Warranty Repair station in Chehalis, Wa. As for "leaning" on LeRoy (or Jim for that matter) the harder you lean on them, the less likely they are going to be willing to help you. Here's the reality.... Wisner's doesn't make the magazine themselves... yes, they do own the tooling and rights, but they've contracted with Pacific Steel Fabricators in Portland to manufacture them. P.S.F. runs a manufacturing schedule (with many other items from various contracts) and produces them when their place in the production schedule comes up.
If anyone is still in need of these, I've got some I'd part with... also have originals.
Ben
