Can the Titan stock be glass bedded? Will the bedding compound stick to it or does the plastic resist?
Thanks!

It can be bedded. You just need to do some drilling and put some posts in so the bedding material has a strong bond with the stock. You can probably do it without these, but this is the best way IMO. I'm pretty sure there's an old thread on here somewhere that shows how it was done step by step. Don't remember what stock was used just that it was synthetic.

You may consider the Titan Spike which I believe Victor Co has listed on the website. It’s another way of reducing movement of the receiver.

A few of the Titans are well past what a spike will correct. I bought a Spike and it won't help. Bedding is needed. the aluminum pad where the takedown screw is is not parallel to the shelf the receiver is supposed to sit on. A bare receiver (Ruger or Brownells torqued to 30 inlbs sits .040" above the rear shelf in mine. sides are .007-.008" gap per side, so with .060" rear the spike is not enough. Roughing up with course emory and clean well with Acetone should be enough for Devcon or JB Weld. Done it with other synthetics, not Titan so it isn't a 'for certain'.

Here is what some planning, patience, and JB Weld can do for your Titan.

Yes, you need to rough up the plastic.

I've not bedded the receiver area really*, since there is no detectable movement once I bedded the area above the trigger assembly - https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forum...55&postcount=7
(I didn't like the Titan set screw thing very much so replaced that with JB Weld bedding).

* I HAVE "bedded" the rear of the receiver area but with gasket maker. Not sure if this is really helping or not, but it has the added benefit of creating a rubber "nipple" that fits into the cleaning rod hole. I think that with the work I have done, the receiver is mot moving any from shot to shot, thus it is "bedded" adequately.

What I had done over the last week or so is getting my Tactical innovations receiver milled for a rear anchor point. Victor sells a Kidd compatible rear anchor. With the new anchor, zip have zero movement. Neither side to side nor rotational.

I had it done by Sonoran Gun Stocks.
