The bus token probably should have been applied to the Buttstock like most of them were on Marlins and I don't t know if that plate is inlaid at all but they always kind of looked cheap because of the two tacks,a thicker plate inlaid level with hidden tacks or fine screws countersunk level would have looked more impressive.

But ,the work you had done is outstanding and offsets the minor mistakes of the company .definitely not bubba's!

That looks very nice indeed. Beautiful.

Though I would not do it mine. But Marlin should have done them this way to begin with.

Not a Big Fan of the nameplate and receiver coin either. But I guess that is the way they made them. So mine will stay. If it had not been a commemorative Rifle to begin with, that additional stuff would have been really terrible. But since I understand their doing this as a commemorative. I can live with it. Still shoots and operates fine with the gawd there. That is the important part.

Forgot, so did you do the Case or send it out?
