Ruger receiver
Kidd 16.5" fluted stainless bead blasted barrel
Kidd scalloped bolt and charging handle
Kidd single stage trigger
Leupold VX2 3-9x33 EFR
DNZ low mounts
Hogue overmolded stock
She shoots under .5" all day with CCI SV, below is the best group so far but I still only have around 150 rounds through it.

For those of you have done Hogue builds, have you done anything to support the barrel? I am assuming your stocks are like mine in that there are transverse structural ribs in the barrel channel. One of them a few inches forward of the action screw is higher than the rest, and this provides barrel support when it is tightened. Does a stainless bull barrel need any more support than that?

Here's my Hogue Ultimate. ER Shaw 18 inch barrel. BX trigger. Bushnell Custom Gold (Weaver 40/44) 4-12x44 scope.

I Barry, that's a nice looking target design not to mention group. Would you mind posting a pic of the whole target and some info on where to find it ? Tanks, Mac PS. Nice looking build too!

My Feddersen Tennessee ridge runner clone.
Yes.
Put a fair sized thick rubber inner tube right at the tip of the stock.
Mostly because i wanted to straighten up the warp in the stock.
Shoots excellent.
Actually it didnt really matter what i did.
It still shot good.
Keep in mind.
My receiver is a No Dak Spuds.
It fit super tight into the stock.
Maybe that's why?

Barry, I like that gun. I love Kidd barrels. Mine shoots SK Pistol Match the best. But they shoot CCI sv into tiny holes as well. Anytime you can shoot groups 1/4th the size of a dime you know your barrel and ammo are good.
