Drove down to Waco earlier this week. It was like a late spring/early summer day - blue skies and temperature in the low 80s. Walked along the bank of the Brazos River between the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum (across the river from Baylor University's McLane Stadium) and the historic suspension bridge, taking pictures along the way.

I like this one the most. Only thing that would make it better is if there was a train crossing it. Still nice though!!

Been to the Texas Ranger HOF. Interesting place. I live about 2 hours north of Waco in Plano. Waco is a nice little town (not so little anymore). It's amazing what one Heisman Trophy winner can do for a University and a whole city.

Nice pix

and very nicely shot. You seem pretty good at photography.

I hope your lack-of-mention of any visit to Chip and Joanna's little fairground means that you successfully avoided the whole place. The last time I was curious enough to wander in there it struck me as quite over-hyped, definitely over-priced, and ridiculously over crowded. I expect little has changed there.

My wife went to Baylor. She doesn't even like to go back to that town anymore.
