From their FB page...

CZ 452 American 22lr with a 21"threaded barrel, 1-5rd mag and 1-10rd mag, a set of millet med rings. It has ENGRAVING on the receiver, top of barrel, on the trigger guard and and the trigger plate. It says on the top "??/100 Kilwell Limited ed". They described the wood as field grade wood with figure. These do not have hi grade wood so its just luck of the draw on the number you get and how nice the wood is.

Yep...looks like field grade wood to me.

On the other hand, the price is not horrible if you are looking for something in a CZ that is different. Depends on how much you are willing to pay for it.

Who is Kilwell?

If I were looking for a 452 American (got one already) I'd pay what they're asking for it with or without the engraving.

Having gone to that much trouble, it would have been really nice if they had clocked the screws.

Still, it's a 452 and they won't last long, I bet.

Maybe there's something wrong with me, but I'd prefer one without the "scratches."

Maybe it's Kilwell of New Zealand. They apparently had an 80th anniversary commemorative made, maybe this was something similar they rejected and CZ dumped them on the US market...

For the youngsters in the crowd, that's a reference to being the only guy on the island from past literature. A fine work for a young person to look up and enjoy.

This looks like my engraving when a screwdriver slips.

It looks okay, but not so great that I'd rush out to get one. I'd rather have a trainer I think. I've got an American (.22 WMR), a Varmint (.22 WMR) and a FS (.22 LR), so need a trainer next over this version.
