Mr. stallard,

Do you know if you'll be getting any more Scouts and/or LH Luxes? Are you still scheduled to eventually get the shipments of 452s that you guys were expecting back in February? Back then, you expected more shipments of almost all 452s sometime this year. Just wondering if that's still on? Thanks.

Has anyone here seen one of these in person? Engraving doesn't look very good in the pictures

A local dealer (Oregon) got in a bunch of Scouts last year. I got the last one. He has offered to buy it back for what I paid for it. They must be a bit hard to find; at least for him...

These come with 21" barrels. What length barrels are on regular 452 Americans?

Are the stocks longer on 452s than 455s?

I've seen these guns at Whittakers. The engraving looks okay but the wood is very common. You would think that a rifle that was engraved that the stock would have at least some degree of figure. With that being said it makes the rifles look cheap by mixing the engraving with the labby dabby wood. If I were thinking of ordering one of these rifles I would take a gander before pulling the trigger. They look nothing like the anniversary models.........Redworm............
When I said the engraving looked okay I was being very liberal. I bought a Lux while I was at Whittakers an passed on the engraved model...........

Whittaker at $429 vs. "the other guys" at $699.

Some good photos for those who want to see the gun more clearly, though.

That makes me feel good, during the rush to buy dis-continued 452s, and seeing prices like these over the last 6 or 7 months, I picked up a Style 22lr for 378.00, brand new, target dated 2011, about 4 months ago, Its really nice, and shoots as good as looks.

Gun Broker Ba Humbug...........I'd say the guns on GB probably came from Whittakers. I don't know that but when you see weapons pop up in the surrounding area, it kinda makes you think. A bunch of 452 Americans an 453 Americans were sold from the area around Whittakers. I don't know if its insider trading or just individuals purchasing 4 or 5 rifes an moving them on GB to make a few bucks........Either way I don't have a problem with it. Thats just the way the cookie crumbles. Whoever is selling the so called engraved CZ's is gonna have to get off the $699 starting price because they flat just aren't worth it in my humble opinion. Personally I would rather have nice 452 or 453 American or Lux or FS..........Redworm........
What 16turbo said.............."Just give me one without all the scratches" Thats classic I wish I'd of said that..........

In my opinion these rifles are just more back room 452s that CZ had laying around. Last time it was the mix matched high grade wood stocks sent in regular 452 boxes. Now these cobbled up guns. Don't get me wrong, they are still 452 Americans, but it seems like we might be seeing what is the end of the 452. I hope I am wrong.

Those pictures are way better and the engraving doesnŽt look as bad the ones in the FB page. I ordered one anyway. For the price, with rings and two mags, its not bad.

IŽll post some proper pictures once I receive it.

I drop the coin for one. I wanted a 452 and didn't have one, and its not like you can find them on the shelves all over the place anymore. I mean, underneath it all its still a 452 American with a threaded barrel. I ended up with number 50, I sure hope its a shooter.

I picked up two of them..... If you are going to pay shipping its a better deal to ship two. The one I have shot shoots very well. Cant wait for the suppressor. The other will go in the safe. That makes 5 new 452's this year. Still love the Ultra with Brno sights!

I'm jealous. I paid 429.00 for. Nib 2010 stamped style. I really wanted it though.
