8 ounces difference, all in the barrel. The barrels on the "lite" versions are aluminum with a steel sleeve.

Thank you Chim.

So, is it a good thing?

The accuracy of the Lite is better or worst than the normal weight?

I've bought two rails from AmericanhunterUSA.com in Covington, LA @ $27 and change if you want to add them to your list. Their phone is 985-892-2521.
These rails come in Browning factory boxes!
Don't recall the shipping charge but it wasn't free.
Keep up the great source of info. troops!!!

G&M & Chim, y'all are both geniuses,

I have been searching the web (&my gun shops) for weeks trying to find this kind of information, thank you.

The page has been bookmarked since I found it, and I've been back to it a couple of times already.

Ben

I'm contemplating buying a ss Camper. Now that you've had it for a year, please tell us your experience and share your thoughts. Do you add any sights? Red dot sight? Reflex sights? What do you do with your Camper? What problems have you had? How many rounds have gone through it? How frequently do you clean it? Thanks, JERRY

Challenger with grips made by yours truly. 7.25 Trail-Lite. Soon to be changed drastically ala 4 inch threaded Trail-Lite and SS Sparrow Suppressor. Just waiting on approval from the man.

TacSol rail

I put a TacSol barrel on my new Buck Mark URX. I also put a TS front sight on the new barrel. When I tried to install new TS rail, it didn't fit. It appears that the mounting holes are slightly too close together and the mounting screws cutting into the new rail. So, I re-installed original URX rail and it fit the new set-up. Also, when I took it to the range, it shot high at twenty and sixty foot targets. I adjusted the rear sight up quite a few clicks but it still shot high. I am currently in contact with TacSol trying to solve these issues. Anyone out there with any suggestions? Any body have a similar situation with a TacSol rail.
I like the new set-up. It feels a lot quicker because of the weight reduction. But I can't mount any future optics until I get a rail that fits.
Thanks for reading,
Queeks

Hi:
New to rfc and it appears that you and photoracer have a lot of posts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I have been a gun enthusiast for about three months. I have purchased a Glock 19, Marlin 60, and a Practical URX. I have money down on a Buck Mark Hunter. Which brings me to my question. When is Browning planning on manufacturing and/or shipping a new supply of Hinters? There may appear to be a communications gap between my local retailers and Browning. Browning indicates that their top sales reps get the larger share of new shipments. Then the reps distribute them to their top retailers. So the consumer doesn't know when or where these guns may appear. I gave my money to a retailer in hopes that he is a top seller and will get a Hunter. I would rather give my money to a local retailer who actually knows that he will be receiving a shipment(of new Hunters) Any ideas?
