My BPS/Cabela's Thanksgiving sale flyer got here today, and they will have a Buck Mark Micro Bull barrel on sale next week for $200 (after $100 rebate).

Or a Walther P22 for $295. Or a S&W SW22 Victory for $390.

Makes that $200 Buck Mark pretty good.

Does the BM in the ad have a threaded barrel?

The price on the Buckmark is really good, and the price on the Victory is not bad.

I currently have a 1968 challenger 1. Is this micro that much different to warrant having one? Other than size and whatnot, seems like a modernized challenger. Am I wrong?

I can't say anything about the difference between the Micro Bull and the Challenger. I only have one Buck Mark, a UDX Plus.

I received it as an insert flyer with our newspaper. 5 day sale starting Nov 21. Should be able to find it online. $199.97 after the rebate.

Dennis.

Picked up the Buckmark at Cabela’s yesterday. Will be doing the Heggis sear spring flip to reduce the trigger pull. Was almost 4 lb out of the box. But $200 after rebate is a deal!

Flipped the sear spring and put Neco Moly grease on the hammer notch. Now itís a 1.5 lb trigger! Yay!

There is no comparison in quality to your Belgium Challenger.
The Buck Marks shoot well, but the manufacturing quality is significantly different. If that BM had a threaded barrel I would be all over it.

I picked up a Micro Bull at our local Bass Pro yesterday, got the display model (last one they had). Since it had some scratches from handling (really minor) they gave me another 5% off... so after rebate, it only cost $185! Taking it to the range tomorrow. I have high hopes.

Already ordered a TacSol picatinny rail for it, and will be mounting a spare red dot.

I had one of the original Buckmarks from the 80ís which was a delightful shooter. Sold it off about twenty years ago in a weak moment. Happy to be back in ownership of one.
