Timney Trigger

About 3-4 year ago I purchased an CZ 452 American that came with a new uninstalled Timney trigger. The rifle has the yo dave spring kit in it now. Will the Timney be that much better than the factory trigger with the litter spring swap?

Help me make the decision.

Not in my experience... Some stocks need wood clearance in order to fit the Timney, and they won't allow a trigger as light as the Yodave spring changes. It does depend upon how light you want the trigger, though.

Put the Timney on gunbroker and recoup some of your investment.

I don't know how light you can go with the Timney, but I have a Brno and 2 CZ's with adjustable sears and triggers less than 10 0z and all are "bump" tested.

sell the Timney trigger if you are a sport shooter.
unless you need a good 2LB trigger for NRA competition, then install it.
the games I shoot in the Timney is perfect for, 100% repeatable 2lb 2oz trigger that breaks clean and passes the trigger test every time.

BTW you do need to remove stock material with the 452's.

If you want to sell it you can p/m me, I need to look and see if I have a spare all ready.
