Ron Villanueva placed 1st in both T-Class (593-28X) and Tactical Class (595-29X).

Don Moore (Magical) placed 3rd in O Class (580-23X) and 16th in T Class (584-19X), but take note, these scores earned him 1st place in the Senior Class for both of these events.

Congratulations gentlemen! Great shooting.

A friend in attendance texted me earlier and said it was very windy, and much of the range had standing water.

Congrats to Ron V. and Magical. I don't think I had dry socks all weekend unless I was in my motel room. If you had dry feet that weekend, you weren't at Perry. I shot 546 in T class and had a great time and will be back next year.

Here is what the range looked like.

Thanks for sharing the pics reality! One of these years I'll get to the National RS Match.

More pics from Perry. I know the Port Clinton, OH area is popular for fishing, but in the Lake not the grass. Taken on Friday and Saturday.

I have heard that this was the last National Sporter Match at Perry, and they are moving it to Anniston, Alabama.

Only the Nra Smallbore matches are moving and they are goiing to Bristol, Indiana. The Rimfire Sporter Match will be at Perry (as of 7/21/2013), but on FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, 8/1 and 8/2/2014, no weekend date next year. Safety briefing on Friday and match on Saturday.

I got it I think 3 or 4 years ago at Sandusky County Sportsmen's Club out near Gibsonburg, OH. It was fun with the exception of very hot and humid sunny weather with no clouds and no shade. Mad Minute is always fun. Used my T-Class on Sat, switch to my O-Class gun Sun. Shooting CMP RS really helped out there.
