My rifle has shot at 50yds a few 1/2" groups and probably averages 11/16" with white box Centurion. It is a 592 rebarreled with a 591 barrel shortened to 21". The Varmint does similar groups,POI changes about 1/2"

I have a 591 and 592 shot the new ammo out of both and so far I have been very happy with results.

I'm curious about how accurate this ammo is at 100 yards. I have several boxes of old Remington but couldn't do better than 1 1/2" at 100. The Centurion I've tried wasn't that good.

That is the problem, when their is only one or two mfg's, if your gun does not shoot it well there is only one solution. Make adjustments on the rifle, which is sacrilage to many. Even 2" at 100yds is only 1" from point of aim.As someone who has been shot at hundreds of times I am glad their weapons didn't shoot near that well!!!! You probably have also. I have not shot mine at 100yds in a couple years and that was with early Centurion white box.

Heck, 1.5" at 100 yards sounds pretty good to me.

Does anybody know what, if any, the difference is between the white box and silver box Centurian 5mm Rem Mag ammo is? Both appear to have the same 30 grain JHP bullet, so I'm confused.

I see that MidwayUSA has the white box ammo on sale for $16 per box.

Didn't see any silver, just white n yellow; dimpled lead and jacketed deep hp.
