Mark II FV vs B22 FV

I'm certain this question has been beaten to death and also realize there probably isn't a definitive answer. I searched the forum here but didn't see the direct comparison and would like the opinions of you Savage experts here who know both rifles.

There is only about a $50 price differential and at first blush it would seem the B22 is worth the extra price due to the stock, magazine, bolt, etc., but sometimes first opinions are wrong.

Is there any difference in quality, accuracy, etc., that I would not be aware of by looking at these on paper?

Any other opinions, experiences, or comments are tremendously appreciated.

Thanks so much.

I got rid of my MK FVT many years ago with a pretty low round count due to extraction issues that were a constant pain to keep up with. it was a good shooter. sub MOA easily.

that being said, a few months ago I picked up a b22 fvsr, i love it! no issues with function, close to a half MOA rifle. so i have been very impressed with this little guy. The magazines arent as nice as the 10/22 mags, but they arent bad. i highly recommend the b22.

My Mark II FV has always shot well and the magazines work fine for me. However, the stock is total garbage. On that basis alone the new B22 is probably worth the extra money as you will spend over 100 bucks for a better stock. This all assumes it shoots as well as the Mark II FV. Others will hopefully comment on the accuracy issue who own both.
