Charles daly O/U made by miroku. 12ga 26" barrels. Choked skeet/skeet...can you guess my fav Clay's game? I'm 5'9 the gun has a long lop (14.25" or so) but I shoot it so well it's ok. Short barrels are whippy but again that suits my, um, style.

Second is my first purchased shotgun. Winchester 1300 sporting/field with a Carlson skeet choke. Approx 4000 rounds smooth as silk!

For trap Iand upland birds, love my grandpa's old stevens 16gauge double side by side. For ducks and geese I'm kind of obssessed with the beretta a300 outlander I got a year ago. Thing has been rockin the pits and blinds.

Being a hunter , my favorite is a Pedersoli side by side muzzle loading 20 ga . Choked cyl bore and improved , Teal over decoys with 1 1/8 oz #4 bismuth 3 1/2 dram load just kills them , or 1 1/8 oz #7 1/2 3 dram load for quail , doves and grouse . Just love the pace of the front stuffer and this one throws devastating patterns . My Citori from the 1970's is a close second .

My latest is the SKB 280 with 28” barrels in 20ga, I will see how well it shoots if I can put my Browning gran lighting down, also a twenty.

I have to add one I forgot and a couple of new ones...

My favorite turkey gun is an old Winchester 120 Ranger action with a Knox stock and a camo-dipped, rifle-sighted turkey barrel.

My favorite skeet fun-gun is a TriStar Viper G2 in .410

And, I might have a new favorite all-around gun: a Beretta Silver Pigeon I in 28 gauge.

My dad's Win 101. It is a 20ga Skeet gun. Perfect condition. Great on grouse and woodcock, and short range pheasants.

Just picked up a nice 1940 Winchester Model 12 in 12 gauge, 28" plain field barrel with the standard walnut stock and corncob forend which I prefer and the barrel is stamped Modified. The gun was sent back to the factory by the original owner and the choke was opened up to Improved Cylinder. It is slicker than snot, on the first notch of the wear adjustment sleeve, and deadly on clays. I can use it for skeet and five stand without issue. Just a pure joy to carry and shoot. I'm more comfortable with a old Model 12 than any other gun out there. At the end of the day, shoot what you like to shoot, right?

I have an old Miroku o/u, and a Browning 725 Citori Trap. The guns are near identical in the lockup design, and both feel like part of me when I shoot them. Imo, I could pay a lot more , but not get much better .
