I have 2000 rounds in transit from Midway. The order was on backorder for many months. Hope I don't have to return it.

Ups just picked mine up. I read on another forum (glocktalk) they will replace it if your persistent about it but you will have to send them a copy of your ID. I think I'm going to take the money and buy some eley club with it. I looked through my receipts and it looks like I bought it in may 2013.

Would 22 LR +P be a little too hot for my 10/22 ??
Don't try this at home without a bolt buffer.

Winchester M22 Recall

BS
You cannot put a double load in a .22lr.
After I shoot them, I will send the fired shells.

Winchester M-22 RECALL

Anyone who thinks this double charged ammo is safe better have their life insurance paid up! You will probably NOT be injured. But when the firearm tries to extract the double charged case the bolt will rip off the entire rim of the cartridge completely off. Believe me I know! Years ago a friend decided to make a magnum out of his .22 LR. He pulled the lead and double charged the case. Smoke gas and soot out of the chamber and only the rim extracted from the chamber. He had not had the rifle but a couple of months. It was a Sears model luckily they tookit back with full refund. I know .22 is hard to find but how valuable is your firearm or your life

Seems to me those who reload could pull the bullets, dump the powder, measure out the proper amount,
and re-crimp the bullet back in place...

am I wrong?

Wow, I got lucky. 11,000 rounds and all are good lot numbers. All bought in the last 8-10 months.

Checked mine and they are all good.

If you do have some of the recalled ammo; please let us know where and when it was purchased. Just wondering if most of these went to a major retailer and what states they went to.

Doc.
