Numrich has this repop.

I suspect that it's the same as this N.C. Ordnance repop.

The target model had a steel buttplate, but I'm not sure that the sporter ever did. I'm sure someone who really knows will chime in.

Both my M75 Sporters have steel buttplates. Not checkered, they just have grooves running from right to left and they are blued. Big Larry

I believe the steel serrated butt plates used on the 75 Sporters were the same that were used on the model 55 lever guns. So that may open up another avenue for you to pursue. RRM

The factory blueprint for stock states "Use Model 92-94 Shot(shotgun) Buttplate" Use Model 73 Buttplate Screws".
I am relatively certain the model 54 uses same plate, however it might have to be trimmed to fit.
Maybe that info will help as well.
Steve
