Anyone know of a good deal on a 22/45 lite? My local shop has them for $485 and wasn't sure if that was good or not? Thanks

Depending on transfer fees you may save a little.

Looking at this, if it was me I’d rather pay the extra $20 or so and buy from my lgs. Helps support a local business and should I have any issues I prefer talking with a live person. Anyway there’s nothing to stop you from offering say $450 and see if he will dicker with you. Good luck!

I agree 100%.

And it's nice to be able to put your hands on the actual gun you are going to buy.

X 3. I've been watching MK IV Lites for months now as I'm hiking about a second. Most Lites are selling for $400-$460 on the net. Then there are the hidden fees such as shipping, Credit Card fees, Insurance and a $25-$40 transfer fee once it gets to yourlocal FFL. Then IF there is any problem with the gun, the onus is on you to resolve it (via retun shipping/ negotiations, etc). Your LGS does not have a dog in that fight as you bought the gun sight unseen elsewhere. If it's a matte of saving $150+ or getting something that my LGS can't, then I may buy from one of the big online retailers. In cases like this where the cost difference may equal a Mcdonalds lunch, I'll always go with the support and convinience of the LGS.

Buy it from your local store. That way they will stay in business, they can support your purchase and can help you with any problems that may happen.

Also no sales tax from bud's. For me it was worth buying from Bud's.

My local gun club has a FFL. Thus, members are able to buy directly from almost any on-line vendor. That said, I purchased my 22/45 tactical from Zanders for $400 (including shipping, taxes). Then, upon arrival, a $10 transfer fee to the Club. That way, the Club makes a token amount and the members spend a bit less (sometimes a lot less) than "street price."

I always use the website "gun deals" to check for the best prices. All you have to do is put the model number in the search box in the upper right hand corner and it will list all the websites selling them and what the prices are. You can then decide to buy from one of the websites or use the prices to haggle with your local gun shop.

I agree with a bunch of the posts, I always try to by local when I can, but if they will not at least work with me on the price and get close then I will buy online and use the local fun shop for the FFL.

Here is he website: https://gun.deals/

be aware some don't have a threaded barrel (if that is important to you), but they look almost identical.

Thanks for all of the responses and advice. I like my lgs but they want $500 plus tax on one. I tried negotiating but they were pretty stuck on the price. I don't mind paying a $25 -$35 more but Michigan has .06 sales tax and $530 is a lot of money.
