It looks like it will start shipping sooner than expected.

Appleseed logo? Laser Etched or Painted?

Is the Appleseed logo laser etched on the lower receiver or is it painted on? From the Tippmann M4-22 Facebook group there appeared to be one individuals lower which was laser etched.

I received my Appleseed M-4 PRO a few months ago and was finely able to take it out to shoot. I took it to GUNSITE in Paulden AZ for a NRL-22 Match. The rifle had never been fired (by me) I put a $100 BSA 6-24 power 1 inch scope on a one piece mount. Firing SK Plus 40 grain standard velocity ammo at a 50 yards at a test steel target with out zeroing the scope I got a hit. On paper at 50 yards it was about 1 inch out at 10 o'clock. After adjustment a 5 shot group was about 1/3 of an inch. My first shooting position for the match was a 24 inch square at 200 yards and after I figured out the scope correction hit 5 straight at two targets on opposite ends of the impact area. Through the match if I did my part the rifle preformed superbly. The only maintenance preformed the night before the match I sprayed High temperature silicone into the action and both 25 rd mags letting the liquid carrier dry before morning. My only regret with the system, it needs a magazine of 10-15 rd capacity the same length as a REAL 20 Rd MAG. Shooting prone unsupported the mag is so long it beomes a mono-pod (illegal position) unles you take an unsteady position.

The shorter mags come out in August.

Exclamation

Forget about these flash-in-the-pan Appleseed rifles & get back to making belt-fed 22s!
