I did not find anything about leather treatment on Protektor's site. What should you treat the leather bags with? We use Leather CPR for 13 years on chairs and car seats.

Leather Treatment

I have ridden a Harley for many a mile and years in all types of weather . I treat my bikes leather bags , my jacket and my boots with Neatsfoot Oil . It will change the color of your bags a bit , but it will return as it drys and it will remind you itís time for a fresh treatment . Slings on my rifles get mink oil , as well as pistol holsters .

Read this thread.

I believe the general consensus is that you don't want and shouldn't need to apply anything to the leather on your bags.

The reason being that you want the leather to remain stiff so the bag doesn't start bulging and sagging on the sides. Ok to use baby powder on the ears to allow the stock to slide smoothly.
