How the heck are you guys able to post pictures here??? I have my pictures in Dropbox. If I click on the "image" icon and supply the URL, it DOESN'T WORK. The best I can do is just post the actual URL for people to click on.

Click on the icon that looks like a mountain on a yellow background. Should be self explanatory from there. 😊

I have tried that and tried that and tried that. It does not work.
I just did it again right here and this is all I get. This should be a pic of my Colt 1911-22.

Syntax like above.

Since photo bucket went nuts, many including myself have switch to imgur.com for hosting of photos to share on forums and such.

Ok, trying again … this time manually putting the IMG syntax in.

Well, obviously still doesn't work. Here is the actual link URL.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xgabv2a7m8...UZZLE.JPG?dl=0
WHICH DOES WORK IF YOU CLICK ON IT

Looks real sharp.

When you go to your photo in dropbox. Right click on the image and select "copy image address" then paste that into the Image dialog here.

When I click on the Dropbox image in my public folder I don't get any option "copy image address".
All I get is
"Copy Dropbox link"
"View on Dropbox.com"
"Version history"
"View comments"
I have tried "Copy Dropbox link" and pasting it into the Image dialog at least 50 times. IT DOES NOT WORK.

If I can make a suggestion....
There is a "Computer Help and Troubleshooting" Forum down near the bottom of the main page. There is also a "Test Forum" where you can practise posting pic's so as to not clutter up this thread......

Just finished putting together a new 1911-22lr. Thanks to Chet at CWA for the nice hardware, Nic Taylor for the magazine upgrade hardware, and Wilson Combat for the stainless bits. After looking at my photos I need to find a stainless slide stop. :-) Enjoy
