As I suspected this chassis is going to be good as a race gun super light and agile .I'm not much of a hunter ,but I would imagine it would be good for that as well .I agree with others that a longer chassis would be better for the bench .As this sits right now it is super light and agile its it's going to be fast.

I weighed this rifle to the best of my ability first getting on a scale getting my weight then getting on the scale with the rifle . I'm not sure how accurate this method is ,but I don't have a scale that could measure the rifle on it's own. I'm coming up with around 5 pounds with a 10 round magazine inserted. Even if its off a little it's still extremely light I plan on shooting some steel this week.

Wow, that is pretty light
Ive got a Lb/Oz produce scale from a thrift shop that works a treat for such stuff. Or, hang it on a fish scale secured on the rafter.

Not as light as I figured it would be. Stock receiver, Tacsol barrel, C-more Railway, and a Hogue Thumbhole and I'm just under 5lbs. Figured this setup to be closer to 4lbs but was wrong. Either way, 5.5 works just fine. I can't hit anything with a super light rifle.

I was excited when my Kidd came in at 5 -1/2 pounds .Then my buddy told me that was heavy his Hogue stock, Ruger receiver and a carbon fiber barrel came in at 4-1/2 pounds I didn't believe it .Then I read your post ,I guess it could be true
