Match 6 of our 12 month season.

50 yard entry - Shot 04/06/19
247-6X Smoothtrigger.
Anschutz 1727F-22 CISM.
Unlimited Class.
NF Fixed 42X.
Factory Action, Stock, and Barrel (Hunter Chamber). No Tuner.
Shot using a Bi-Pod, and a Protector Rear Bag.
Lapua Center-X.
Cloudy, 47, Breezy & Raining at 2-5mph on this target.

Very happy with this result considering a bit of a switching wind that was coming and going.
And it was raining.

50 yard entry - Shot 04/06/19
239-1X Smoothtrigger.
Anschutz 1727F-22 CISM.
Unlimited Class.
NF Fixed 42X.
Factory Action, Stock, and Barrel (Hunter Chamber). No Tuner.
Shot using a Bi-Pod, and a Protector Rear Bag.
Lapua Center-X.
Cloudy, 47, Breezy & Raining at 2-9mph on this target.

This target suffered form higher switching winds along with the rain.
The 8 and all of those 9 were not surprising, although annoying.
However that 7 was not expected, the wind was ok and the round sounded fine.
But notice how it went through the paper. It punched an elongated tear.

I know that a bullet rarely hits a rain drop, and the pressure wave in front of it makes it somewhat of a moot point.
In this case, I think that round ran into a major rain drop, you know the kind that drips off a building and are super large.
I think it hit one of those.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

This is my first entry. Here's the better of the two targets I shot in our local rimfire match yesterday. Same match as Smoothtrigger.

(The target says 241, but it's actually a 240. Row 4 right in the middle is a 9 but was counted as a 10. Row 4 was completely wet when we scored them yesterday, but now that it's dry it's easier to plug it.)

50 yard entry - Shot 04/06/19
240-4X pmpski_1, Kenmore WA
Anschutz 1903
Unlimited Class
Nightforce Competition 15x55
Sinclair Bi-Pod, and a Protektor Rear Bag
Lapua Center-X.
Cloudy, 47, Breezy & Raining at 2-5mph on this target.

If/when I can figure out why my iPhone will not send my target photos to my PC, I will post pictures of my targets.

These targets are my second attempt at shooting over wind flags. Seems as though the flags lie from time to time, but I am trying to learn what they are telling me.

So far this month we've had a great bunch of targets posted.

Thanks everyone for posting up on his thread.
It's really nice to see how everyone is shooting, and what equipment you're using.

Keep it up.

I won't post again until next month because I'm only posting my match targets.

Now I do have a case of a new lot of Center-X coming that tested really really well.
I may shoot a test USBR target with that lot. If I score 250 I'll definitely post that one up.
