5mm Rem Mag? I don't think a factory shot shell exists for this...

Aguila makes minishells, but they are for 12 gauge shotguns. Nothing for 5mm rimfires that I know of either.

I think I know what you are talking about. I have a shell in my collection that is roughly the size of a .22 but looks just like a standard shotgun shell. Might be a 6mm. I believe those small millimeter ss are going to be a foreign proposition. Winchester had the 9mm model 36 but that is bigger than these. They would be no relation the the Remington 5mm mag.

They have the snake shot shells, including in .22 Magnum (don't know if they are still making them), so you might be right on what he's looking for.

Here is a completed auction containing a 6mm (2). Not sure if there is a 5mm version. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/795815362

I think......THINK.....that the small mm shotshells were designed, originally, for the Flobert guns.

Theres never been a shotshell cartridge for the Rem 5mm mag. Just .22LR and .22Mag. The only pistol or rifle cases I've ever seen shot used in are in a straight wall case. You can't put shot down below the shoulder or you'll blow the gun up and theres no room in the neck for a decent charge. Last shooting shot out of a rifle bore is only effective for less than 10 feet. There are "garden guns" popular in Europe usually bases on a 9mm rim fire like the Flobert. They were usually a smooth bore but rifled ones were available that sometimes a shot cartridge was used in.

If you want an effective RF shotshell go to the 9mm Glatt. I have an Anschutz, world of difference in performance, I use 6 and 7 shot, killing range is about tripled sometimes more.
