does anyone know where to find a cheap ar-22 kit?

i have a hogue overmolded right now but i kind of want to get back into an AR setup. i am most comfortable when i shoot with a pistol grip and want to free float the barrel also but dont really like the look of the blackhawk stock.

i was thinking of going with a smith and wesson M&P 15-22 but i already have a good amount of Volquartsen add ons to make my 10/22 shoot well and had an archangel stock previously but didnt like the fit and feel of it

have you looked into the tapco intrafuse? ive seen the intrafuse stock with a quad rail and it looked pretty sweet. i personally just put the UTG commando 10/22 quad rail system on my ruger with the standard polymer stock and i love it.

If you are set on a Nordic style setup but want to go the cheap route look up blackhorne 10/22 chasis, cannot vouch either way for the quality, but its under 100$.

Not really. It's gonna be ~$150 for the basic kit. Then you have to buy the grip, buffer tube, buttstock, forend and associated hardware.

the blackthorne knockoff sounds interesting ... looked it up online but could not find any legit places selling it.

yep, that does not seem like a legit site ... tried contacting them through email and got a bunch of spam responses in return ...

Ok I just saw another thread on a different forum slamming these guys. Not even the site posted above but the black Thorne company themselves. Going by the posts I read the only thing worse than their customer service is their gun smithing. Now of course I can't vouch for that myself but it's enough to lean towards the Nordic kit
