I am assuming you mean larger than an 1/8" dot?
A friend experimented with a either a 3/8th or 1/2" dot on his & found it was too large for any holdoff He would loose a portion of the dot in the black scoring rings making it hard to get the same aim point each time.
Well, as you know there aren't many light scopes out there any longer with plain dot reticles. An option might be to have a custom reticle installed on a Leupold 6x Competition. Or the lady in NM can do it or on the steel Weavers.
There's just nothing new out there that I can find.
I went from a larger dot to the smallest dot Leupold makes and I turned a corner on my Sporter scores. I firmly believe the larger dot leads you to those close misses.
