Saw a used one in 22LR this weekend and was about to go in tomorrow to do paperwork for it to make it my first CZ but have been reading it having more accuracy issues than other models?

It is light so once scope is mounted it should be about perfect for hunting. Did noticed barrel was not free float though.

I've owned three

Two .22lr and a .22 mag. I found mine accurate and light. Didn't have any issues with the foreend touching the barrel but a bit of sanding on the nylon stock should suffice. I've read others that say the SS barrels need some rounds to break in and give its best accuracy. Mine were good from the get go.
A nice and pretty rare CZ to own and enjoy in the field or range.

I was lucky to find mine. Had some professional trigger work done before I bought it and it's about 1.4 lbs. Very nice rifle to go with my 452 Trainer and 457 synthetic. All very accurate.

Stainless 455

My stainless 455 was a real dud accuracy wise. Hard to get one inch groups with match ammo. In desperation, I bought a factory 17 Hmr barrel for it. It is accurate with only one particular hard to find ammo. But with that ammo, it is fairly accurate (under 1/2 at 50 yards). Not quite as accurate as my Marlin XT17, but acceptable.

I have them in .17hmr and .22wmr, the .17hmr is a good shooter only edged out slightly by a good shooting T1x in a Bell&Carlson stock the .22wmr I've not shot yet, that's what happens when you own too many firearms.

and the unfired .22wmr

Both rifles were purchased at close out prices of just over $300, pretty danged cheap for true all weather rifles.

Stainless Al, the old 452 Style was electroless nickel but these are stainless, as bilrus said.

455 Stainless

I love stainless guns, too bad they have not brought the stainless 457s over here yet. The 455 stainless guns were pretty cheap when they were closed out, wish I would have tried another, maybe it would have been better than the one I got.

I've got two SS 455s, both in .22LR, and while they took a little longer to break-in than their blued counterparts, both of them are now shooting equally well to the blued guns. I like the synthetic stocks, they're rugged and comfortable, too.
I leave one in Missouri, for my use when I visit family out there, and I have one here in Kentucky. Family is allowed to use that one whenever they feel like it, of course, but at least I don't have to haul it back and forth on my visits.
I tend to favor blued rifles more, but SS has it's place. It's not always bright and sunshine-y weather out there.
