I have found that a scope is great for checking ammo from a good bench rest but not something I would want to use every day. I find a red dot to be much more user friendly, at least in my case.

Have a few MK III and a MK IV Lite - with red dots.

For my purposes, these function fine.
I do not do competition shooting.
The blue MK IV is my sisters.
I upgraded her from the gold MK III.

I put the 2x pistol scope on the lite and took it out this morning. It worked and I had a decent group at 25 yards but the field of view is really tight and I have to have a rest. I would be pretty slow with it. I took it off and put a TRS25 on to try again. My circle dots are on other guns right now.
