Perfect Gift for the Gun Lover?

I've no idea if this has been posted before, but being I saw it (again) yesterday at my semi-LGS, I thought it needed sharing for those who may have never seen one. Yes it is what you think it is, it even has (weak/lame) sound effects...

I found them listed at W-mart for $25, but they were out of stock. Amazon had one, at an insane $138! Then I did an ebay search and found one at $50. Google had other results come up, but I didn't follow them...

At first that looks good but not practical. If you had to use it, lots of crevices to hold bacteria and stink up the room. The look on mamas face when the kids start running around playing space cowboy with it, priceless.

You are absolutely correct sir! Honestly, I believe it's meant to be a gag gift with it's weak but fake gun sound capability (or so I read it was weak sounding). I was afraid to get too close to, or touch the one at the gun store (along with everything else around me!) while bracing myself to take the photo!

Yes Ma'am, no question about it! But... you're treading into the more realistic, practical, serious gift territory verses the plunger which was a sarcastic gag gift idea...

The goal is enough to last thru at least 2 future presidential terms, which I hope is planning far enough ahead?

Hmmm. Shotgun plunger, that raises a few questions.

Ammo and magazines....the better idea

Have similar sentiments to lonewolf, unfortunately my consumption has increased rather steadily. Trying no knock off rust from an 8 year hiatus. Decent cheap 9mm supplanted 22wmr, but now that's in steady supply hasn't been this good in my records since 2005.

Happy blasting!

Yes, the ammo situation is pretty good at this time, with only some quality issues at the lower end of bulk 22lr, that I know of. It's a real good time to stock up, just in case...
