All shoot SK Pistol Match. I put a tuner on the first 2 red ones and these were the best I have shot. This is just showing what I call optimum accuracy.

1st red gun from above with tuner

2nd red gun with tuner

This was the best from blue stock gun no tuner shooting CCI standard velocity.

Here was the best from the first green stock gun I posted shooting in a steady 15 mph wind. CCI standard velocity

Now again I am showing you the accuracy potential of Kidd barrels. I am not saying I or anyone else can do this all the time.

If these are optimum what would you call excellent? Great looking guns and nice shooting.

Ron, it ain't too hard to shoot .2's with a Kidd barrel. .3's is very easy. I have shot several upper .1's to mid .1's. Lothar Walther rifled blanks and ammo get most of credit.

Look at these 10 shot groups. These show consistency of barrel and ammo.

That last Kidd barrel gun I only have shot it once. These were the better ones I cut out. No tuner. That group on right told me it will shoot like the other 4.

I built a 100% KIDD rifle. Mine scoped on a bipod will shoot sub 1/4" hole at 50 yds. Sorry I sold it. Cost roughly $1300 to build.

If you want the rear tang hold down but don't like the Magpul stock there are several other options available to you. You buy a Kidd full barreled action and then stock it yourself. There are a few that you can buy that are already inletted for the rear tang like the Titan or pretty much any of the Tony Melee 10/22 stocks (the best IMHO) he will make with the tang option. The other option is to pick a stock and send it out to be inletted for the tang. There's a few stocks that don't have enough material to add it but most do. Here's one of my Kidd SG's in a Tony Melee stock with rear tang.

Your choice. Drink the Kool Aid or pass. I don't like the way the Kool Aid taste.

I understand the analogy. Just not sure what part of this topic it is pertaining to.
