Well my wife calls it constant modifications.
I am starting to build up the the palm grip with fiberglass. I will hope to get it close to the shape of a thumb hole or something like a Anshutz pistol grip.
You may ask why not by a stock. Well that would be too easy

I am layering in the fibreglass just added 4 more layers toward the bottom

Looks good! I did a similar thing on my 597 HB using pipe insulation and vet wrap. Probably do like you have some day and make it permanent because this is one part of the 597 stock that I've never liked.

Nope I made sure that I had the matting soaked before layering it on

One coat of paint. This brought out my surface imperfection which was planned. Now sand and fill with a coat of resin.
