Charger Takedown with KAK brace

So I hope it's okay to post a link to my site. Just wanted to share this project I did recently. My Charger Takedown is one of my favorite 10/22s. It's a great platform for tinkering, and my wife likes the light weight. Since I've got an aversion to paying $200 and asking permission to cut down a rifle barrel, I don't see myself building an SBR any time soon. And a braced Charger is the next best thing. I used the Adaptive Tacticle rifle stock, but with a brace. I think it turned out sweet. Have a look, and let me know what you think.

How do you get a cheekweld with the scope mounted so high?

Good question. Everything about a Charger is a compromise. I can't get the scope any lower, I can't legally modify the brace. So it's really just held against my face, which is still better than a Charger without a brace.

From what I have read, there shouldn't be an issue with a receiver-mounted scope, so I may take the rail off the barrel, and mount the scope directly to the receiver. That would solve this issue. It runs flawlessly with the GSG drum, and will probably end up being a soup can blaster more than anything else.

Thanks for looking!
