Israeli FAB Defense 10/22-Pro folding stock
Razor 80% receiver
Kidd 16" Ultra-light barrel
Kidd Bolt
Kidd single-stage 2.5lb trigger
Leupold 1.5-4x20 Mark AR Mod 1 w/ Firedot SPR reticle
Harris bi-pod with Picatinny quick detach, rotating adapter
Kryptek Typhon Cerakote
Custom flash supressor milled to same O.D. as .870 barrel

If you're looking for a tactical stock, I highly recommend the FAB Defense. The fit and finish are perfect--drop-in ready, snug, but no force required. The butt stock snaps positively with no slop or rattle (just like a Case XX knife).

The AR scope is overkill, but I wanted the green Firedot reticle, and Leupold only offers it on one model.

I have other builds that shoot a bit better, but they all have full rework by Randy at CPC. Considering this one has no machine work, it shoots really well.

I know what you mean, maxiball. The one in this posting doesn't have a single factory part in it. It definitely adds up quick. I went all out on the first one, including full up machine work by Randy at CPC. I thought it would be the only one. Yeah, right. Got bit by the bug on it. Now I'm three deep with plans for four more. Make it stop!

I would love to do one like this (actually my Son would like me to), but sadly NY State doesn't want me to

Wish I could find something like this that was "NY Compliant"....

Any one of these on a "detachable magazine" fed semi auto:
Pistol Grip
Telescoping stock
thumbhole stock
threaded barrel.
There are others, i don't recall, but NY makes it difficult...

Does anyone here know if the bull barrel really works in the Fab Defense pro model? Their direct advertisements all say "no", but it seemed to work well for the OP. Also wondering about length from the back of the receiver to the furthest back point on the stock (the M4 one) when it's folded. I know my barreled action is 22" so hopefully there's at least 4 inches of foldeds M4 stock behind it. Thanks, Andy

Andy: The barrel in this build is the Kidd Ultra Lightweight bull barrel, which has a non-standard O.D. of .870. The Fab Defense 10/22 Pro stock accommodates the Kidd barrel, but there isn't much room to spare. Will it accommodate a standard bull diameter of .920? I can't say with certainty, but I doubt it. On the other hand, 0.05 inches isn't much, si it might work. Send an email to Fab Defense (or their US distributor). I found them to be fairly responsive.

I measured the distance from the back of the receiver to the back of the stock when folded. It measures precisely 3.5 inches.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Bubba68: I just weighed it so I could answer your question. The weight, as-shown, minus the bi-pod is 4 pounds, 11ounces. Of this, only 1 1/4 pounds is in the barrel.
