Having recently acquired a BL22 I naturally wanted to take it apart and give it a good cleaning. While looking at the take down and reassembly it became clear that the ejector and ejector spring is the fly in the ointment to reassembly. I found a way to make reassembly a snap!
Take a small stick (1/8) cut to about 2 inches long, then cut a small slanted slot in the end of the stick to fit the ejector. Put the ejector spring into it's recess and install the ejector. Reach the slotted stick through the ejector port to hold the ejector compressed in place while you slide the receiver halves together. Works like a charm and I have never seen this tip posted anywhere else. :t
Hope this helps someone. BTW I love the rifle!
