when I put my vq trigger kit in, I just took out the spring and detent from the slide release. it accomplishes the same thing right? what problems could I have by not doing the whole mod?
With my gun gravity alone isn't enough to let the bolt release fall down. I guess there is some dirt or oil in the slot that makes it stick (even though I cleaned it). I will probably try this spring method.
they will work without the extra spring, I have three 22/45's that i altered years ago when I first got the idea and discussed it with Bullseye. Some of the levers may and will have a slight bow in the or a burred edge. If they are straight and smooth they will work every time, mine have been for a long time now.
