Finally getting my bench technique down. Started shooting matches with my unlimited 22 silhouette Contender but couldn't see target with Burris 7X pistol scope. Replace 7X with 36x! Last week my best target was a 244 9x's
Last night the rifle shooters told me to go home when I show a 247 😁
Ken Light manufactured several mounts for Contender's, XP100's, and Anschutz for silhouette shooting. Shooting silhouettes in the creedmore position the eye relief was to short with pistol scopes so this one moved the scope further back. I use to shoot 22 silhouette with this Contender and left the mount on it. It works perfect as it raises the scope up and back so I do t have to bend over and lean forward.
Factory TC barrel 14 inch match chamber. Rest is Sinclair competition and bought the fore end used several years ago and a gun shop. Don’t know who made it.
My highest score is 247 13x’s and the rifle boys told me to come home 🙂
250 is a perfect score
I have searched every place I can think of for one of these rails with negative results. I am working on some sort of factory cantilevered mount that can be used in the same fashion. If anyone has an idea I would like the hear about it.
