Finally got to shoot my AA AR 17 and man is it awesome. At 25 yards 5 shots under a dime. At 50 yards 5 shots under a nickel. At 100 5 shots under a silver dollars. This gun is stock and the trigger is very heavy, 8 pound pull. I believe that a new 3.5 pound trigger pull would make this gun perfect. 200 rounds down range and zero problems. I am in love.

I also love the IOR 2.5-10 scope that came with the gun. Glass is incredible and the mil/mil reticle and turrets are very accurate. I can recommend this scope to anyone looking for a great hunting scope.

I've recently been considering an Alexander. How is the weight on the IOR? Love to see some pics of the rifle scope combo...it sounds like a winner!

It's not a light scope. It weighs over a pound but the weight is worth it as it is durable and the tracking is exceptional. I will send pics later today.

Got mine back. It runs best with Hornady and the little trick of lubing the casings helps immensely. Curious to shoot some a17 out of it. Mine is rather picky about being cleaned. None of the 20grainers seem to shoot well...bummer. Most recent group at 65yds was 5 shots hornady measured .42 and a 10 shot measured .73

BTW, you stole that gun. I had already purchased mine but that scope is super expensive, LaRue qd mount, and the gun for that price! Congrats!

1300 for the gun mount and scope was a crazy good deal. First really good deal I won on gunbroker. Thanks.
