Well, I did it. Not the score i was hoping for. But better than the 209 and 208 scores from October. I dropped 2 shots on stage 3 wasting too much time getting my NPOA after the mag change

The 16" rifle is much lighter than the 18.5" heavy barreled one. My arms did not get as tired with the lighter weight rifle.

My nemesis stage is the kneeling stage. I have a bad back and very stiff knees, so it is difficult for me to get into position and get NPOA. It's the stage where I find myself dropping shots, or rushing a shot.

My first event i had only 3 or so months of shooting experience, so i absorbed everything like a sponge. I went from not knowing anything about shooting, to having a very good foundation to work with.

Being an admin on many Facebook groups, i try to pass on repeatable positions and getting people to mount their scopes at proper heights. After getting past that brick wall, NPOA, or trigger pull instead of yank and follow-through are things I try to pass on. One of the biggest things is just passing on info about Project Appleseed and trying to get more people to attend

Congrats on the great shooting!! Which of the kneeling positions are most comfortable? Which one works the best for you?

Typically standing is more difficult for me. It took me some time playing with the different kneeling positions to find one I could get comfortable in and adjust NPOA quickly with. I started out kneeling sitting on my back foot and while this was and is the easiest position for me to get into I have a harder time with NPOA and changes. After my 1st Appleseed I started playing with the sitting position and "nest" staging my mags and found it easier for me once I get into position to adjust NPOA and get shots off. Great on your last event!!

I used to use the kneeling with sitting on toes and heal, but this time i was able to roll my ankle and actually sit on the side of my foot like this.

I feel like i was able to get it totally flat, but was probably like how the instructor is showing.

I hope somebody was taking pictures for the after report. I like to study those pictures and see if I can make adjustments to what I am doing.
