A Weaver J2.5 or J4 should work just fine. They have 3/4 inch tubes, so you will need 3/4 inch Weaver type rings to use the bases you have. Optically the J2.5 and J4 are quite good, not up to modern scope standards, but much better than most 3/4 inch scopes.
A Lyman Alaskan should also work well, but they tend to go for big bucks - about $300-400 and require 7/8 inch rings that are not easy to find.

Maybe not a problem for the OP..But those tiny tubes are all but useless for my old eyes now I have a J4 and other 3/4 tube scopes ling here..I think I even have a J6 laying here..They were a little better as far as eye relief..

That's why I like the J2.5 - fairly bright image with a good wide field of view and long eye relief. Sometimes the objective and ocular lenses need cleaning inside and out, and this is relatively easy to do. I have about six or seven on various .22 rifles, and I have been quite pleased with them. They can usually be found for well under $100.

I think I've heard of a J6, but I've never seen one.

I have two Mounties, both sport Lyman reciever sights. I also have the Marlin grooved tip off installed to accomadate a couple of old Weaver K model scopes. A 2.5 and a 3 x one with post and crosshair the other with a German Post reticule. Both are in qu type mounts with an adapter installed to fit the littl 3/8" rail, works great and they fit fine over the receiver sight.
