My Kimber collection doubled today

Found some new friends at a small local gun shop a few days ago. Not often seen models so I bought them. Then I started getting worried so I contacted Sagerat22 about the Custom Classic 22LR to find out if it was a Classic with some upgrades or an actual A action Custom Classic. Thank you Sage for verifying the model and that the prices were good. Got to bring them home today. The A action Cascade is chambered for .22WMR and came with Kimber vertical split rings and a compact Leupold 3-9 scope. It is in near perfect condition and the Cascades are my favorite Kimber model. The Custom Classic 22LR came with verticle split Kimber rings and a couple scratches on left for end. I removed the rings because they are the flat base style to fit bases rather than round bottom to fit grooved receiver. Just a couple of black streaks and a little tiger stripe in its stock. Cascade first 2 photos Custom Classic photo 3 and 4. I included the Suet bird feeder and some droppings for scale. Enjoy.

A pair to draw to

Well Hush you do get around, nice find, I love those Cascades too, mine is very plain in the wood department, yours is much nicer, the custom classic looks great, thanks for taking the time to share. Happy Hunting. Tim

Nice scores Hush. Nothing wrong with helping a local shop pare down their surplus used inventory.

I’m always envious of those nice looking Cascades. Maybe one day I’ll snag a nice one too. My early Bishop stocked 82A needs a companion. Would like to see a range report on that beauty you have here.

HUSH, you keep DOING it!!! Really nice! When I think about some if the Kimbers that I have let slip from my hands over the years (and that Vert guy has one of them ). Sigh. Are you just stumbling into these, or are you searching for them?
Congratulations on the new additions. You done good!

These two I stumbled onto. The recently acquired classic was a gunbroker find. 2 others I have had were local gun show finds. Part of the thin the herd and upgrade to a few higher grade guns haha. Not sure if it is going to work?

It seems like you guys in Oregon always get first shot at all of those local Kimbers! I guess there are a lot more of those rifles in your area because the rifles were made just down the road. Nice score!
