RAR Compact 2-7x Nikon scope

Well, it's got a trigger only a mother could love, took my RAR compact (one of the CDNN threaded ones from a few years back)
Ranges as noted:

25 yards

Back to 50 yards. The 2-7x scope isn't enough for fine target work (for me anyway)

7 rounds of various ammo!

I'd rather have this rifle vs the 10/22 takedown.

Let's hope the Mcarbo trigger kit helps this rifle out!

Part #10 , magazine latch assembly and 48 ,recoil lug, , little glops pf pot metal that act as the bottom part of the receiver, sit in cutouts at the bottom of the stock. The screws run through them. They move. Thats why the poi shifts between shots, find a way to keep them from moving and your accuracy will improve. Glass bedding might work best , but i just wedge them in with some bicycle inner tube, and it seems to work fine , but i do have to rezero a bit after each disassembly which doesn’t happen often.

As for the trigger, im sure the mccarbo will do the trick, but all i had to do with mine was swap a spring and lock tite the little screw/ nub that holds the spring in . And spray it down with Hornady one shot dri lube

Oh and because its a ruger std taper, a pressure pad under the front of the barrel also helps. More bicycle inner tube

I like the modular stock , a lot, and outside finish is great , and the bolt runs nicely and of course , the Ruger magazine is superb.

I think the trigger job should make enough difference for me.

Well!

I took the rifle down to get it ready for the new spring kit (arrives Monday) and lookie what I found (missing!)
It's the set/adjustment screw for the trigger! Numrich had them in stock so...

Let's smooth up the MIM trigger on a stone.
