Need someone to inspect my 39a

Iím looking for someone in the greater Seattle area that can inspect my 39a and tell me if it safe to shoot.

A demonstration of how to disassemble and reassemble the rifle would be helpful.

Not local, but if the bore is clear and looks good, and the bolt closes up tight, a Marlin 39A is ready to go test.

STRUGL4X'SC said it all clear bore and if the lever closes the bolt it is good and safe to go.

.

Welcome to RFC, Steve ! !

You're on the right track, as it's best to clean/lube a new-to-you gun.

Dis-assembly & re-assembly is best learned by watching a You Tube video as DGF mentioned above.

Just google "Marlin 39a gunsmithing"

.

If you need a copy of the owners manual, P.M. me with your e-mail address and I'll send it along. Pretty easy rifle to separate, clean and lube.
