Realizing this crazy ammo situation that we are experiencing I want to begin my search for quality target ammo. Up to now the best ammo that I have is CCI mini mags and plan on using this for familiarization/break in of my new AT-One.
Probably the worse time to begin this search, what are some brands that I should be looking for and what kind of prices can I expect to see?

Actually the higher end ammo is usually easier to source, so many rimfire shooters aren't willing to pay for the good stuff.

Vatom, to RFC.

Not in US myself (across the big pond) so cannot comment on US prices.

Being that as it may, if you shoot competition or just want to get the best accuracy from your rifle, please only use good quality ammo, I would recommend you try the following.

Note Ė This is the ammo available to me here in the EU, you may have a greater choice in the US. Prices are box of 50 rds.

Budget Ä6-8 = SK Std+, SK Rifle Match, SK Pistol Match, SK Flat Nose.

Mid-Range Ä9-15 = Eley Club, Eley Edge, RWS R50, RWS R100, RWS Special Match.

High End Comp Ä15+ = Lapua X-Act, Midas+, Eley Tenex, Eley Match.

This company has been getting in a little ammunition over the past day or so. Their prices have remained steady as well. You may wish to start with SK Standard Plus and work to Lapua Center X. Then go with some others just for testing.

https://goodshootinginc.com/rimfire-ammuntion/

This one is for Eley products strictly.

You may wish to work with the Lapua and SK ammunition if you are using a CZ rifle. They seem to be the best in this rifle type.

I agree with CZ453, give Good Shooting a try. I use them over all the other suppliers of quality rimfire ammo.

I'm having a heck of a time finding CCI Mini Mags 1235fps, out of stock everywhere.

I just stop in WalMart every time I drive by one, I've been able to pick it up now and then. I've gotten to know the sporting goods guy at my closest, he says there is no rhyme or reason to when it comes in, or how many they get. I bought the only single box they'd gotten in the past couple of weeks.

I'm not having luck anywhere, locally or on-line....will have to wait for the madness to settle down. The prices for bulk on GunBroker are a joke.

All very good choices and all available here now bait as the cheap stuff goes there are some that buy up when cheap isnít available.
In your choices you didnít mention anything from Norma?

On a side note pretty much most if not all the ammo made in England,Germany, and Europe is typically better than most if not all thatís made in the states.

On another side note everyone in wise county texas is sold out of all .22lr ammo except one place that has a ton of it in. I personally thinks at $40 a brick itís a bit pricey buy they have plenty of it.

RFCís claim itís in line with cci mini mags.
Orschlens carries Anguilla super extra in store.

If you have one near you you might give them a try. Itís like no one knew they have a sporting good department and yes I think itís all over priced there.

No Norma in rimfire available here, other caliber's yes.

We have some others (CCI, S&B, Federal, Hornady, Geco,) but mostly in sporting/hunting line.

I only shoot BR Tgts so mainly use SK, Eley, RWS and Lapua.

Keep safe.

Cathy at Goodshooting.com has kept me in ammo even during the trouble
Killough ships Fast no messing around

If you want to see how good your rifle can be try a box of Center X

Eley Target is right in the middle price wise but usually punches above its weight

I'm still searching for the right ammo to use in my 457 American. It does not like any kind of Eley period. Using SK STD+ will give me decent results but I think it can do better. Good Shooting INC is my go to supplier and Cathy is a true gem.

I just received a brick of SK Pistol Match Special and one box of Center X to try and I hope one of them gives me the results I'm looking for.
