Any of the BSA experts here know what screw size is used on the tang flip up sight mount?

This is a model 6 I picked up several years ago.

Not an expert by any means.

I have no idea what the screw size is however, the sight looks like the Bsa No 8 Sight, some RFC member here may have one and can do a measurement for you.

The rifle looks like an early Model 6 with the tapering barrel.

Just my tuppence worth.

Beautiful rifle, by the way, and hope it shoots as good as it looks.
