I am considering getting some for my Mark II, IV magazines. I only want reply from those whom have used them. I don't want any " you don't need them" type of reply sorry. I think they may help with reliability considerably.

I have better luck with standard springs ! I have volquartsen sure feed springs in 10 magazines and it’s hard to get 10 rounds in them so I switched back to standard springs just clean and polish a few areas and they will work just fine

I'm really surprised Wolff doesn't make +5 or +10% springs for the Mark or 22/45 pistol mags.

moreguns, you have a feeding problem caused by the magazines not sitting in the correct position in the grip frame. magazine springs and follower buttons are never going to fix your feeding problems. that said, i like volquartsen parts and i dare you to buy some springs

I have tried the Volquartsen springs in four different magazines, including two blued and two electroless nickel magazines. Other than noticing it takes a lot more effort to load the magazines, I have noted zero changes in feeding. That being said, I have experienced zero issues with factory Ruger magazine springs going all the way back to my 1961 RST-4 and 1964 RST-6.

The only magazines that I have ever experienced feeding issues are the Ramline 12-round polymer units.

I didn't have any feeding problems before or after buying the mag springs.

mr moreguns your first post you say you expect the volquartsen springs to greatly improve reliability. now your saying you dont have any reliability problems?? i know from another thread your mag follower buttons are rubbing the frame, meaning the magazines arent in the correct position. whatever

I had the heads of Volquartsen mag buttons reduced to .218" if I recall. My Ruger pistols feed really good.

one of my mk ii's used to feed really good. it had a misfeed rate of less than 1 percent with most ammo but 20 percent misfeeds with golden bullets. then i fixed the magazine alignment. now i havent had a misfeed in 5000 rounds with any ammo.
