SR22 Slide Cross Pin came out

Log in to see fewer ads
Hi there,

I got my Ruger SR22 last week and shot about 300 rounds. After that I found the Slide Cross Pin (parts # 50) came out to the left side about 2 mm. I tried but it is very too hard and tight to push it back to the original position.

I sent it back to Ruger factory to get fixed.

I'm a little worried about it comes out again after some shootings. Is there something I have to pay more attention to prevent it coming out again?

Thanks in advance.

Ruger should fix you up and update us on the SR22 when you get it back. I have a SR22 that has a pin that works its way out sometimes. The one pin on the slide below the rear site is the one that gets some movement. The pin below the safety on the lower never had a issue. I use a punch to lightly push it back. I have put on my cleaning and inspection regiment to always inspect this pin now. Let us know what you come up with. Just interested on what feedback and results you get from Ruger. The more use I get with these SR22's the more I enjoy them. Good luck.
