Question Grade 10 Suhl...did I pay to much?

Picked up one of the kids guns I believe. Suhl 150 with the Davidsons import stamp. Green and black McMillan, old style stock. Hoehn tuner and a 36 power weaver. Looks legit, marked as Jaysons rifle, extra set of burris steel rings in case, along with previous owners shooting log with ammo testing and tuner settings. Previous owner had purchased online in October of 2008 from Larry Cook who was apparently acting as a broker for Jim Williams at the time. Last entry in shooters log dated Nov. 16 2014 indicated Eley black box at 1058 was shooting in the 1`s . Did I do OK at $1,250.00?

A lot of Suhl 150 standard guns with a good shooter would shoot in the. 1's. Mine I know would. It was made in 73 if I remember right. I paid $1250. No scope.

That was the best group it ever shot. But it would easily shoot under. 2 and several in the .150ctc range.

I shot it a few times at 100yds. I did manage a. 375ctc 5 shot group with I think the old Federal Match 900A. It would do probably better with more attempts.

BR targets

I used to play in the online matches here, sporter and semi-auto. best ever was a 249 11X at 25 yds. with my mauser 201. Still have plenty of targets, got some new Eley black box at the rifles preferred speed of 1058, three different lot numbers, will be taking a crack at it soon. Just waiting on a new 3" front bag for the Bald Eagle.
